Ingredients
- 4-6 servings instant rice or already cooked rice
- 2 lbs. ground turkey or beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3-5 green bell peppers, chopped into small strips
- cumin or steak seasoning
- worchestershire sauce
- 1 cup mozzerella cheese
Preparation
- Make 4-6 servings of rice. (both white and brown are good in this recipe)
- Brown 2 lbs. ground beef (or turkey) with chopped onion in a large skillet.
- Add cooked rice
- Add 1 can tomato soup and half can of water
- Add a dash or two of worchestershire sauce
- Add a little cumin or steak seasoning
- Add a dash of salt and pepper
- Add chopped bell peppers
- Cook until bell peppers begin to soften, but are still firm
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese

I figure I have to come clean about where I got all these recipies now that my fabulous sister in laws are authors here--they are where I got all of my favorites from!
It is so nice to see you put my cooking into real recipe form. It is so painful to me to try to give someone my recipes. I don't use recipes. A little bit of this and that and when it smells right it is done. Come visit and I will share lots and lots of recipes. blogging them is hard. So Thanks Les for making me seem like an official cook.
I do like cheddar cheese instead of mozzerella just because of the fat content and the pretty color it adds. I also freeze my bell peppers chopped up so I just add them from the freezer. I also sometimes use uncooked rice or minute brown rice, just add some additional water and stir once or twice as it simmers.
