Deceptively Delicious

I know some of you have this cookbook, and I got it for Christmas. Do any of you have favorite recipes? Tips? What vegetables are easiest and most convenient to puree? Is there a good place to start? Am I correct in thinking that I can use pureed vegetables both in the recipes and as baby food?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Start with the breakfasts or anything baked. Like the desserts. :) The main dishes are not as great. But I'm amazed at how well those secret ingredients are hidden in anything baked.

And yep, you can use any extra pureed stuff for baby food. :) Ice cube trays can be a great way to store them in small doses.

I have The Sneaky Chef (which is the book Deceptively Delicious is a rip off of).

Mostly I just like to use the principle rather than specific recipes.

I find adding pureed veggies to spaghetti sauce is the easiest thing to do.

I second the use of ice cube trays.
